Thank you for writing this! When I Google the bill I get dozens of articles with headlines referring to it as the 'Don't Say Gay' bill. It's maddening how disinformation and lies are spread. It is disheartening how so many gay and lesbian people have fallen into this trap and believe this bill is homophobic, when in reality it is the gender ideology that is hurting us. And it is ironic that our so-called 'allies' who refer to this as the 'Don't Say Gay' bill never say the word 'gay' themselves--they always refer to us as LGBTQ+ (or one of those alphabet soup incarnations). I am not a member of the 'LGBTQ+ Community and neither are you, my lesbian sisters. We are gay men and lesbians, period! In solidarity with you.
