At 77, I am thrilled to have been a woman and a lesbian for all my life , not gay or queer. Thank you for speaking up for our reality.

Wonderful herstory to have.... thanks for getting it into print. I found it fascinating, inspiring, and providing a clear understanding of the trajectory of lesbians being "sick" to now lesbians being born in the "wrong" bodies. The prejudice and hate is so strong (STILL) that women must reject their sex and mutilate their bodies to now be "men" so they will no longer have to be an abomination. So messed up. So very wrong. So obviously criminal what social media, the medical establishment, and government is doing. So wrong. Thanks for being here and standing up for lesbian women and the rights of all women to make their own choices about their lives. Lesbian Post is a sane and educated voice in the wilderness. Powerful

Thank you for your insight to lesbian life, and for writing this story. Lesbian’s do need a written history. So many of us have faced discrimination beyond the glass ceiling of the business world. Many of us have been blue collar or service industry employees for years. Not always out of choice, but because we didn’t have the means for higher education. Some of us just worked hard to make ends meet, trying to fly under the radar in the process. Leading to a double life.

The older I get, the more angry I become, that I didn’t have the courage to do more.

This years king and queen of the pride parade included a male homosexual as king and a trans woman as the queen. Where are the lesbians being represented in our own community?

My wife has a completely different story, of courage and being in the service. Right now the LGBT community is a lost cause and that to me is greater than the sum of all my transgressions!
